The Straw Hat looked great on line. However, I am sorry to say it arrived to my home in a plastic bag that had been flattened down to about 3 inches. I am not sure it is going to go back to it's original shape. I am going to do the best I can but it is very possible I will not be able to wear it and it look nice. This was not a baseball hat! I love the little flicker these lights give and it looks great on the pole where our house number is. It is nice and subtle which is what we wanted in a neighborhood that doesn't have street lights and values the night sky. We can see our driveway coming up but not be bothered by a bright light. I have some of those little LED lanterns that you pull up on the handles and they switch on. They're okay but the light temp is way on the blue side of the spectrum which is hard on my eyes, and the lens is not frosted so the light is not diffused in any way. They're fine in an emergency but they hardly make a camping experience enjoyable.I saw this and thought I'd give it a try to replace those other lanterns. Despite the promises of superior protection, it was uncomfortable and did not stay in place during sports and outdoors activities. My gps suction cup would not stay on my flat Jeep windshield. I put one of these on my windshield and attached the suction cup, and haven’t had my gps unit fall off yet, despite extreme temperature changes and driving off road on rough surfaces.
