Updated 7/21/2021I received the replacement winch and yesterday I took it out of the box and hooked it up. The connections are pretty straight forward, just match the cable colors to the colored stud insulators on the motor. The negative battery cable along with the small control lead connect to the ground terminal on the bottom of the motor. This winch functions perfectly and is much quieter than my friends Warn winch. Using this product, our team found that these slip-ons were incredibly comfortable and easy to wear for long periods of time. My dog is an aggressive chewer. He destroys most toys in a matter of minutes. This one lasted longer than most, although no longer in its original shape. I bought this to use for beach/pool days to carry things for myself and my infant. It’s a great size, not overly huge but enough for both of our bathing suits, multiple sunscreens, 2-3 towels, and some miscellaneous items. I like the clip because I attach my keys to it so they’re always easy to find. Not sure if I was just randomly unfortunate or none of these come with a suction cup to apply, but one was not included even though instructions say there is one. Difficult to apply without it. OK, let me first acknowledge that my experience with upholstery nailing is limited. A few prior projects that went pretty well.For some reason, this nail was particularly challenging to work with. The if the spacing was off just slightly, the shape of the nail head really showed it. Even with careful measuring (measure twice and hammer once), I could not get them in properly.
