I am not a GM/Chevy fan, but some of my kids are. This socket is required to reach the poorly located oil filter element cap. A lot of reviews said order half size up for wide feet, while I don't have wide feet, I will say compared to TOMS these were wider. I've included a picture of TOMS (navy with polka dots) next to these (gray), these are definitely looser than my same size 7 TOMS that I've had for years. I really wanted to love these for less than half of what TOMS cost but obviously they're not the same. They are cute and lightweight, but the comfort and fit of TOMS is far superior IMO. Whatever car you have, if it has some miles on it, Risoline is a good additive for your high mileage engine. It works especially good for the gm vortec series of engines. They all have lifter tap.
