I have Strats with single coils and humming is what they do. I use this in every Strat I own to reduce electrical noise and would estimate 90% effectiveness. Some single coils cannot be silenced but this really helps.Neatness is not important. Conductivity is. Add this to the bottom of the pickguard and all throughout the pickup cavity.
