Based on my observations, the material used for this product feels cheap and uncomfortable to wear. I purchased these as a gift for my husband. He really likes them. They are warm and soft on the inside, and the sole is very durable. These do *alright* to help reduce some wear on the palms, particularly on pullups. I don't cross-fit, so I can't tell you how they may help for those activities. But for basic weightlifting and pullups, they do seem to help although the finger holes took a while to "shape" to my fingers. I don't have large fingers, so that's something to keep in mind.
