have worn them four times so far. length is good for 5 eyelet lacing. could be a little long if they stretch. the color looks great with black or gray shoes. the round wave shape helps them stay tight. One minor problem - they are a little thick for the eyelets on my foot joy shoes. Had to "push" them through, may cause premature wear, but looking good for now.
