This is good for simple uses, checking a potential water leak from a pipe, clogged drains, etc. The camera doesn't seem to have a very good stabilizer so if your hands aren't steady it might be hard to see a proper image. The camera operation itself is very straightforward and easy to figure out. I purchased one of these for a friend then purchased another one for myself. Neither one of these items held a solar charge. You would have to charge them in "full sun" for 2 days and maybe get 6 hours of light out of the product. Ex; I charged both of these for 2 days "full sun" by 6:00pm the item was lit, however, it only stayed lit until 2:00am and by then it was out. I needed to reduce the height of my Mini Countryman - because I installed a 4-post lift in the garage -- mainly to be able to store a 3rd car in a 2 car garage. The OEM antennae is about 18" higher then the roof when installed -- but this one is just a few.The reception is not as good -- but being I needed the lower height -- it works.
