We don't use any special procedures for removing bubbles, and I still find very few in the items we've made so far. well it's better than padding that is really shelf liner, but it's a quite a bit more expensive than the shelf liner rug pads. So, whether this is worth the extra cost depends on how much pad you need. I have mfg wood floors over concrete slab foundation. The belt works great. The one thing I don’t like is the Velcro that holds it around you. It last a few weeks before it starts to slip. You have to clean debris out of it a lot. I used about 10 of these fittings and one of them had a slow leak right away. It was definitely coming from the fitting itself and when I looked very close, I could see a small crack.
