These all were consistently well made, none of the concerns others mentioned were evident in the batch I received. I have another hose reel that I've used for years, but it bottom feeds - so it has to be mounted pretty high up. The mount/bracket makes it impossible to hang any other way. I've been looking for a top or front feeding reel, so was glad to find this one. First, it's a LOT bigger than I expected. It's the size of an emergency spare tire. I like this rack.it allows me to use space above garage door that normally is wasted. My garage door is 19" from the ceiling. Because of the fact that I mounted it above the garage door I am not able to load the kayaks alone as I don't have room between the door tracks and door operator tracks to get the kayaks up there - not a fault of the design but more of where I installed them. Based on my observations, these shoes are poorly made. I bought them for the metallic shine, but it started to peel off after just a few wears. The sole also lacks support, causing discomfort during athletic activity.
