The fabric is a hard scratchy cotton. Please pay attention to the fabric as it states that it is cotton and spandex, not the polyester + spandex that you would expect. I bought these leggings in the snake print and absolutely loved them. So, I bought the blue tie dye.and loved them again. I decided they were so perfect in terms of price, fit and comfort (plus a phone pocket) that I needed a solid black pair. The black pair (in the same size) didn't fit nearly as well as the printed ones did. I looked at the tags and it turns out that the printed ones have a different material composition. Ordered a size 8 and 9 for my daughter. Wanted an 8 for this year and the 9 for next year. The size 8 fits fine, but was disappointed the bottoms are not fully lined. The 9 is smaller than the 8. Ebay had to resend product 3 times because there was a big fold/scratch in the middle. Finally had to call the actual company to send it and guarantee a product without any defects.
