This chair is surprisingly comfy and well done for its price. I was able to assembly it by myself, no problem, thanks to good instructions. It replaced my old chair in from of the TV and my son occupied the ottoman :). The faux leather seems to be a quality one, so far no cracks or torns. I found this to be difficult and tedious to assemble. I would not recommend it for an 8 as stated on the listing. It would be much more appropriate for an older child, 12+ years. It is not an simple wooden puzzle at all. You have to figure out how to match the pieces to the picture instructions by number. This was made impossible for the black painted pieces because you cannot see the corresponding numbers to match them. I was so disappointed with these placemats. They looked SO pretty in the photo but when they arrived I found them to be a very thin placemat with a vinyl like quality to them. I also anticipated the image of the trees and stars to be better as well. It isn't exactly ugly.but these things just lack sophistication in EVERY sense. The top itself is nice. Nice style, fabric (though polyester) is ok and is fully lined. The bad: I ordered a small and was sent a medium. Also bad: I ordered the leopard print which was adorable in the photos but the one I received was cut with the shading going horizontally, not vertically. The product itself has been phenomenal great thru the bad weather and a really clear picture. I had a blacked out screen out of nowhere, so I decided to call customer support and Abby was very helpful and it did not take long to resolve the issue.
