Great shoes for kids! We don't have kids in soccer yet, but I ordered these anyway as I think these shoes are great for running around in the yard. They are very sturdy, but not even close to "cleats". They just grip the grass better than regular tennis shoes. I use these snips for braided wire, coated and uncoated, and it's almost sad how happy it makes me that when I use these there's just a "snip!" noise and a clean cut. Since it's braided wire a lot of other wire cutters end up squashing it rather than giving a clean cut. As a runner, I have suffered with Achilles tendonitis and foot pain for a long time. I have tried all the expensive shoe inserts with little relief. These are amazing and have allowed me to continue my long runs with little pain. This is much cheaper than the manufacturer's (>$230), but note that the included clips will scratch your interior paint when installed and the cord length may need adjustment. Works fine without the clips attached if you just want to stop people looking into the trunk area. With backseat fully upright, there is a gap of about 2 inches between cover and seat backs.
