It took a bit of adjusting to get comfortable. I did not wrapped it tightly. I believe the buckle in the middle was the problem. The buckle was too thick for it to be wrapped around that it kept hitting the painful part of my wrist and made it worst. This sweater is great quality for the price and fits as expected. It didn't shrink in the wash (and I even ran it through the dryer, too!). I got the product because it had no salicylites. It works. You may have to reapply during the day if you are very active. I suggest that you put it on right after the shower it seems to stay on and last longer that way. One of the batteries doesn't stay charged enough. After about 20-30 min of use, the battery begins to die. I need to get a replacement battery but the replacement battery costs more than what I paid for the gloves. A really good bag. It is thin, so I was skeptical, but I took it camping and the night temps were in the 40s and I stayed warm in my tent. I don't know how it would do in colder temps.
