I never had to worry about the shoulder area sliding down they stayed up the whole time during my baby shower. Just get a good strapless bra and shapewear underneath, because it is a little on the thinner side but I think you would still be fine without shapewear. I listened to the reviews on what size to get and that's what mistake I made. I ordered a medium, I'm 5'4, 140lbs 36c but I am also over 40 so I don't have my 20 year old before child breast. So I think a large would have definitely fit better but the support In the breast part are very flimsy pads like you instantly remove from a cheaper sports bra cause them being there does more damage than good.
