I needed a high quality gate to prevent our puppies from going upstairs and causing mischief.A bit expensive, but for a high quality gate that auto shuts I feel it’s well worth it.The gate opens by unlocking the handle at the top, then pulling the gate up and over the bottom latch. This was very easy to install. I followed the instructions and haven't had any issues. It definitely needs the 48hrs recommended for the glue to cure properly. The sticker was great to keep the hook in place while the glue dried. Otherwise due to the weight of the hook, without the sticker, the hook will slide down until the glue properly cures.
