This cat toy is amazing and keeps my two cats busy for long periods of time while I'm working. I found that there is a metal smell from my jewelry when it was sealed closed. So I choose to keep it slightly opened to avoid the odor. I also found that the earring holders bars on the inside door are too thick for my earrings. The bar with the cutouts is a little thick to hang my earring hooks over although I'm able to stretch the earring hooks over it.
