Updated review: These boots USED to be cut for a slim leg but not any more. I had to rerun them because when I put them on they were sticking g way out at the back of the calf. I have now used about 6 of these for wet kitchen trash. No leaks, no breaks, despite a few loads with some sharp bones.The only reason I give these a 4 is the closure problem. With no draw string, or handles (as on the "single use" bags we used to get in the store, but which are now illegal in NY) the only way to securely close the bag is to squoosh the trash down as far as possible, twirl and tie a half hitch.
