we were forced to purchase an inexpensive bed upon moving since our movers held our items for quite a long period with no communication. so the bed we got was a firm memory foam kind of style - hard bed. This topper took the edge off of that bed just enough to make it durable. The Jacket was what I expected. I purchased it for my son as part of a Halloween Costume (Kenny from SP) but he is still wearing it because he like the color.
