I like this way better than guard rails, way more discrete on the bed. I have a toddler who constantly fell out of bed because she always wanted her guardrails removed so she could see into the hallway. No more falling out since putting this on her bed! Only reason I did not give it a five stars is because I could not quite figure out how to fully tighten the straps but it’s very secure under the fitted sheet and mattress pad! overall it seems to be a good product for shade but if it gets wet in light rain it stretches forcing me to tighten the cables more. I have stretched this tight and yet once wet it sags again. One particular screw kept falling out making it so the leg wouldn’t stay in place. I had to screw it in so many times that the screw became stripped and the leg all scratched up.
