The curtains hang nicely right out of the box. They could benefit from an iron or steaming. Most curtains in this price range have a 1/4 inch hem on bottom and sides. These have an 1 1/2" bottom hem on bottom and 3/4" on the sides, giving them a much more finished look. Room darkening is as stated 50% for the white curtains.
