This bike was surprisingly very easy to assemble. I put it together in a couple minutes and then my little guy was on it. He's 16 months old and had no trouble figuring it out. He fits on it well. It's padded nicely, so if they fall on it, it's not as hard. The bike is very sturdy and the wheels turn smoothly. Great starter bike! Frame and parts quality seem decent at this price point for a bike. The bike is VERY DIFFULCULT to fold. I bought another folding bike of similar design and it folds like a dream. This one, as a full grown male, I struggled to get it to fold and unfold. It is impossible for my daughter to. The frame and folding mechanism is too stiff. Well, I should have headed the many reviews that say these leak. I got 2 and used them for camping and they leaked in the car and during use. I have to tip them on their back when not using so we don't lose all of our precious camp drinking water. I can't believe how much these cost for such a junk product!
