I bolted these with concrete screws to a large concrete paver as a foundation for a mini-split. Set on level gravel, I have not needed to stake the paver to the ground. The wife wanted more light in the kitchen so we picked these. Lots of light and look good but a bit tricky to install. first one took about 20 minutes second about 5 minutes. I had to put a box on top of the ladder that was the right height. In my case the socket that came with the switch had 5 wires that connected very securely to the switch, and the wire colors mapped as follows: RED is LED+; BLACK is LED-; WHITE is SPDT CONTACT COMMON, BROWN is NORMALLY CLOSED CONTACT, and BLUE is NORMALLY OPEN CONTACT. First of all, it arrived a day earlier than I expected! It looked exactly like the one in my laptop and slid right into place. Gave it a good charge and the next day I had it unplugged for approximately 4 hours to drain it so I could give it another good charge! (My old battery was only lasting about 1.5 hours!)
