This swim skirt fits as expected - I wear size 16 jeans and bought an XL. It has 2 separate ruffles which make it look very much like a tennis skirt so it has a little more fullness than what I was originally going for (trying to hide that area, not highlight it!) So sorry to have purchased. I bought an extra large and it fits snuggly when most of my XLarge garment fit as expected. It is 5% spandex causing it to fit snuggly.
