I prefer the O scale size for my HO scale cars. I previously ordered the HO scale cabinet but found its depth really tight for the cars that I have. The O scale size works much better and allows for more room. The finish and quality were excellent, along with the packing material used to protect the cabinet during shipment. A bit strange to figure out how to assemble the base - took longer than I thought it should. Assumed it would have been "pre-assembled" and all I would have to do is place the bottom and upper discs. For sure, you don't have to be an MIT grad to figure it out. Be patient though as they appear not to be primo quality steel. Light weight.
