So far I’ve used this on hard boiled eggs and black olives. It does require a certain touch - don’t be too hesitant. I also discovered it’s best if I use it over a plate. For example, I slice hard boiled eggs for my salad. I hold the item over my salad plate and pop it down and the egg pieces slice out perfectly but they tend to pop up and out a bit.
