The unit I received does not fan out so that both arms are straight across. Also, one of the lights was broken at the mount but still lights up. Did not have patience enough to send back, so rigged the broken light with tape :/. I can imagine these are delicate enough that shipping is hard on them. Very pretty fixture, nonetheless! Although this isn't exactly the set I purchased (mine came with a cable cutter, not the wire stripper) it is one very useful tool.
