This is not a craft or project, it's a commitment.We followed the instructions to the letter. Had to go to the store to get everything you need b/c you have to use distilled water or it won't work. It's a several day, multi-step project and even after following all of the instructions, no crystals ever grew. We were super disappointed. As folks have said there are very strong and very difficult to separate - but that fine - you should expect that. On my AC power strips I have place 2 (sometime up to 4 on large ones) of these - using epoxy glue. Seems to work very well so far. hint: if you use epoxy use a small piece of tape to hold the magnet on during the initial drying - tends to move otherwise. I just wish I had bought it sooner. I stay outside 90% of the time working in the garden, riding my horse, etc.after Hurricane Matthew, the mosquitoes were like 100 times worse than I have ever seen them. They were so bad here in coastal Georgia, you could not go outside without being eaten alive. I got this hat, (navy blue because of the reviews) and wow what a difference.
