The cartoon sock IS polyester (older more worn, washed several times, still has color). I've only had my new portable monitor for a few days, but so far I'm very happy with it. This is exactly what I was hoping for. This is an extended display for my Dell Windows 11 laptop that only requires one cable (USB C for signal and power). The picture quality is as good as my laptop.
