I needed a good cover that could be on my leather futon. I checked measurements like 6 times. Judging from the reviews, it seemed to work. It did for the first day, but it started to slip so I tightened it. It kept slipping.tightened it again.slipped. finally got a good hold but it did hug the leather.As far as the actual band, it is removable which I love, but I wished it was an actual clip. My little girl was 9lbs 14oz, 20inches long. It was still a little long but I was fine with that cause she can grow into it. The material is great but it is way too big overall. The neck line is to wide and her shoulders became visible. The sleeves are long as well. This is more for a 3month old than for a newborn.
