The dish rack was attractive to me because it seemed to consolidate my dishes in a small area. Unfortunately, it only holds the amount of dishes as in the surface area of the rack. If you run our of space to place wet dishes, thats about all the rack can (and should hold). If you try to stack light plastic items (even cups) on top of your washed bowls on thebottom layer, the slightest bump will cause a crash (I have kids and teenagers and didn't think of this). Okay first of all they do not send a wooden mallet with these. It is a tiny plastic one like the one my son had as a kid. He laughed when he saw it. The shelves take a bit longer to put together than you are told in the videos. It took us the better part of 2 days to get them together. I did a set of four acrossed and five up which worked well until i realized some of the zip ties weren't put in and two shelves collapsed. Then it held together really well.
