I bought these because I heard they were a somewhat similar feel to the Lululemon Aligns. I got the color Violet Storm, but they were not the soft material I was expecting so I returned them. A few weeks later, I found a pair of black ones at my local TJ Maxx, and those are buttery soft like what I was hoping for - definitely a cheaper alternative to the Aligns, although they do not have that completely seamless waistband. The retaining washer that allows this splitter to swivel is as thin as paper and quickly breaks when tightened or if you tug at the hose. Too bad, because it looks solid otherwise. The vendor contacted me after I posted the review and offered to replace the parts and said they would improve the design in the future. We've had this for 4 months and it has worked great! The outside is sturdy and cute. The assembly is easy, though flimsy. I bought these to organize my ornaments but I am not sure if I will be able to get each layer out without the inserts falling apart and having to take all of them out to get to the bottom. Decent binder, durable so far. But clasps are little hard to open and more importantly there are no covers on the front and back.
