While everything looked good out of the box and the price was right, I happened to run Dell hardware diagnostics and it showed that the battery wasn't charging fully, even though it was brand new. Perhaps I was just unlucky because this kind of thing does happen, but it is something to bear in mind. Putting together the chair wasn't hard. The seat material is made of some kind of canvas, feels very supportive. My husband was able to wiggle in the chair without being able to tip it over.
