When I took it out of the box, first thing I thought was that this blanket was kind of weighty (it can also be due to the fact that I purchased the queen size version though). Thought this would make the blanket super hot but that was definitely not the case. I like how the blanket has dual sides (a mica nylon/ cooling fiber side and a 100% cotton side).
