I bought this to surf lake superior, I had tested the water the week before and my feet stung from the cold. I was very concerned that even with a 7mm suit I would freeze and my plans of finally surf again would be lost. This suit surpassed all my expectations! These are great! They look exactly like Luna's from the movie. I wore them on Halloween, and they really completed my outfit. First, turn it inside out. The seam is murder on your fingers if you don't. I bought these for my ring finger that jammed and hasn't healed. Works great but I can't wear it 24/7 due to the compression. My PA recommended companion taping so now I'm stretching some of these for that reason instead of taping because that's just a PITA. These were originally bought as a lightweight pair to carry on long bike trips just in case a pedal were to break (something I have experienced with RaceFace Chesters twice). I got a new bike and ordered new pedals but the bike arrived before the pedals so these got put on "to get me by.” Well… that was hundreds of miles ago and they Chesters still sit in their package because these weigh less and feel better to me. Fits everything quite fabulously, currently I have in the pouch the charger with brick, a bluetooth mouse, an adapter, and a small lightning, micro USB, and USB-C cord all in it. I've tried a heat gun, a soldering iron (pulling that out kind of defeats the purpose of these things) and a lighter. I too find it next to impossible to get the solder to melt before the tube itself is destroyed. I thought this would be an easier alternative to soldering and using shrink tubing. It is not. It takes longer and the end result is iffy at best. The tube shrank, but did the solder melt? I can't tell. I pull the wires and they come apart. I have to strip and try again. Yea!
