When I first purchased it I wore it to work under my scrubs for the first week. It felt great but towards the end of the day it started to hurt in the arm pit area. But the second week it seemed to fit a little better and I want having that pinching. I thought it was just getting stretched out but co-workers started asking if I was losing weight. The part that a bolt screws into for stability bent and eventually tore off after lucening the bolt for the 3rd time total. I don't have faith that this will last and am surprised the warranty period is so short. I only bought this a couple months ago and I can't get product support. Nice product! I did not realize that it adhered directly to the front of the hood because previous hood protectors I've used connected underneath the front of the hood. I purchased the 5 pack with different keys. Overall it's easy to install if you have the holes drilled already. Only problem I had was when I take the knob off with the pin and installed the screws, the knob won't click back in place. My recommendation for others is not to pop the knob off with the pin and just tighten the screws with the Philips screwdriver. You'll just have to angle your screwdriver, but it works. As other customers have noted, the batteries that came in it corroded, I used it one time in my enclosed barn to milk then it hung in my house, in case I needed it again, went to use it and no power opened the case and there's the problem corroded batteries, what a piece of crap.
