I gave up on metal marking pencils and really don't need the accuracy of a scribe and thought I'd give these a try. I was NOT disappointed. They work great leave lines that are easy to see and dries very quickly. If you need a very thin line then use a scribe. These work best for marking steel for cutting where you have a little (maybe a 32nd inch) tolerance. If you need more accuracy than that a scribe, as mentioned, may be a better option. I have loved this band for the 4 months it lasted. The metal finishes held up well to almost daily wear, other than when I was doing rugged yard and field work it was my every day band. For the price I’d expect it to last more than 4 months so I will look for a different brand replacement. I have been feeding this blend to my dog for over a year and he absolutely loves it! He is a picky eater so I was glad to find something that works for him.
