In dresses, I am always unsure, but I seem to have the best luck with XL. Just wanted to give another reference for size. I am 5'8, 180 pounds, small bust, and I ordered a medium. It is large on me, and I could probably easily have fit in a small, but the sleeves would almost definitely have been too short. The top is pretty long on me, despite having a longer torso and being pretty tall, so if you are shorter definitely size down or you'll swim in it and it'll be down to your knees.
