There is an on/off switch built into the light bar already, but it is cheap plastic, so I put a toggle switch in the circuit anyway (on the left). Highly surprised with the quality of this bed. It's very sturdy and the fabric feels nice. The color is soft beige. Very neutral feel.It sits much higher than I expected which is a plus. I'm used to low beds so having a bed on the higher side is a nice change. I didn't use a box spring. Just my standard queen mattress. The head board is adjustable so if you have a mattress that's not so thick you can lower it.
