I have used this protector 3 times now for showering. The first time was covering surgical packing material and a splint. The second time it covered a cast. This time I removed my walking boot and simply covered the cotton and gauze that I wear under the boot. I just received this today, so I can't speak to how well it will hold up, but I carry my Cricut Explore Air 2 to work several days a week to make signage for my store.
