We are using the suction cups to hang a tarp skirt around our camper. We full time in the camper so they will remain there through the winter. We placed the suction cups on a smooth-ish surface along the bottom on a 50 degree day. I was worried about the surface not being completely smooth like metal or glass. The front side was getting full sun so the material and the suction cups were warm. The back side was shaded so it was cooler. At first we did have some falling off mostly in the back.
