So at 1st I was seeing why everyone was saying the buttons were not responsive so when yo lay the phone in the bottom case make sure your side buttons are clicking sometime the little rubber pieces aren't making contact with the buttons so test that out 1st before snapping the top piece on cause it's a tough cookie to get off once on. I took a chance based on the reviews and I’m sad to say I should have went with my gut and ordered elsewhere. Pretty disappointed that some of the characters don’t even stand upright.
