After I cut the elastic waist band out, they are a great fit. I'm fairly sure I may have injured my internal organs because of how tight the waist band was. 🤣 The large has a little extra fabric around the waist so I might have been ok with a smaller size because they are a little high waisted. These binoculars look awesome, which is why I gave them 2 stars. Very sturdy and bright colors and look like adult ones that I thought my boys would be so excited about. But if you’re looking for binoculars for your littles that actually function, don’t buy these. They are extremely blurry. I got 2 and both of them were the same, so it wasn’t a defect. I have both a mid 2014 MBP and a mid 2017 MBP and these work great on both. They don't do much but what they do they do exactly as you would expect them to.
