This notebook has become one of my absolute favorites for diamond painting! Through trial and error I found that the pages are perfect for holding the drills securely in place. The dotted grid pattern also allows me to create intricate designs with ease. The notebooks hardcover construction provides a sturdy surface to rest on as i concentrate on my art .The only downside is that the thicker pages can sometimes make the notebook bulky to carry around. Now if you have some serious upper belly or back rolls you could have a problem with roll down just being honest that did not bother me because the pants from top to bottom did the job they're not really thick and the waist is wide enough.
