Well insulated, but easy to work with. Ran a distance of over 150 feet from Sonos receiver (16 ohm) to two Klipsch AWR-650 outdoor speakers (8 ohm each). Design is nice, belt feels great and keeps my pants from sagging. Belt doesn't dig in and hurt. Only gripe is the way it tightens, the extra belt go under instead of traditionally on top. This means I have to use one hand to hold the buckle and my other hand feeds in the belt inch by inch. If it were on top I could just pull on the extra belt to tighten. When I got this in the mail I was honestly impressed , simple hook up two wires , I soon discovered that all the LED strips were connected together by plugs , problem is there is only about a 6 inch run of wire between each strip , therefore I’d have to buy extensions for each set . If your wanting to put all the lights in one general location this would be good for that , to do a whole bike from from fender to fender is not feasible . So I was disappointed on that . Based on my experience with this antenna, I cannot recommend it .The packaging was confusing and the installation instructions were unclear.
