We decided to renovate the picnic area at our restaurant this year and wanted to move to a sun shade setup. These are very comfortable even when using the thumbholes but the white ones do allow a fair amount of sun to get through. Especially, if you stretch them and pull them up to cover more of your upper arm/above the bicep area. However, I was pleasantly surprised how cool they kept my arms on a run on a hot day. Was optimistic these would be a nice addition to our Halloween yard decorations. Both strands arrived on time and appeared as advertised in the description. Small solar panel with two buttons on back that turn on/off or change mode settings. Neither strand worked upon arrival but let them both charge in the sun for a day and they worked that night.
