This thing is f***ing huge! Its a hearty blanket, there is a little bit of weight to it but nothing too noticable if you have a good hiking pack or evenly distribute the weight throughout your pack when you load it up. Don't get me wrong. These things are still sharp. And they're double sided blades so you need the included holders. I would have liked a third holder because I use them for several applications but two is still a useful number.They work just as well as metal and take away the concern about scratches.
