They arrived a day late. When you're expecting something one day and it's not there it's annoying. They're not amber. They're very bright. I found that this did not fit my min pin mix. The section that goes over the top of the nose was too wide so it runs into her eyes. I'll have to find something even smaller than this. Also, the overlapping velcro straps may work for some for the adjustment, but I found them too fiddly to work with when trying to fit on an uncooperative dog. Like others have described, these lights aren't waterproof at all. I really don't know how they have so many good ratings but I bought these over a year ago. I played with them a bit but didn't permanently mount them outside. They've been in a box in a relatively humid room since then. I recently got them out to mount them permanently and discovered they've yellowed a lot just from the moisture in the air. This was my first time to use a mousse tanner. It takes some getting used to. It dries faster than lotions that I've used before, so you have to spread it quickly. It does not add any color instantly so you will not be able to tell where is has already been applied. You will just have to work fast and try to be thorough. I wear an 8 1/2 men's but they don't come in that size so I ordered a 9 and there's plenty of room for thick winter socks or maybe even boot liners which is fine. It's really hard to tell the left from the right, but there is a difference if you examine the soles. I'll be walking fairly long distances in these so I plan on getting insoles with arch support.They look great and are plenty warm but I haven't tested them down into the sub zero region yet, just around +14 F.
