After washing it once, the shirt lost its shape and became misshapen. through trial and error I found that it was impossible to restore the original form of the shirt. Bought these for my Gram in the nursing home. She's able to unvelco and velcro by herself, and hangs it on the back of her chair. Very well made and long enough to catch any food that falls into the bottom pocket. Wipes clean between uses and washes very well in the washer and dryer. No melting. I ordered a 5t for my average weight 4 yo because the size 4 had very little wiggle room. It’s perfect for mild winters but not heavy enough for the super cold. That’s why I gave it 4 stars. Very comfortable, light ponytail hat. The material is soft and not overly hot like some caps. I love being able to put my hair up higher and it’s still cute with hair down.
