I Purchased this on the advice of a friend. I have a really long-haired furry cat. Her fur had started to knot up on her belly and around her legs.Honestly, while this clipper was quiet, it doesn't really matter in my opinion as no cat likes being shaved, ever. This collar just raised the beauty of my tree up a notch! The diameter was too large so I removed one of the connectors to make it smaller and now it’s perfect! I then overlapped the sparkly fabric and clamped it in the back. I love having that flexibility if I ever get a larger tree someday. The pictures do not do it justice. I bought these as wash cloths for my little ones. They are bigger than "baby" wash clothes, and softer, too. My kids really like them and ask for them specifically at bath time.
