My wife ordered a size larger than she is, based on other folk's reviews. That was good advice - they fit perfectly. She wanted them for extra padding when she sits (tail bone injury), rather than looking like she has a bigger butt. The padding could be thicker for that cushioning, but that's not a criticism. Good bar with lots of grip options. It does flex at the center quick assembly spot, which is to be expected, but a little scary when you are doing a lot of pull-ups. It is too wide for my standard bathroom door for the pads to fit on the wall.
